I was never really good at anything until one day I picked up a camera. When I was 12 years old, I asked my older sister if I could use her Kodak Disk camera. Lol! Kodak Disk camera! Have you ever heard of one of those? Well, that's all I could get my hands on at the time. I loved taking photos of exotic sport cars like Porsches, Ferraris and Lamborghinis. As I got older, I loved chasing storms and trying to capture tornadoes in action but they are very unpredictable. I bought my first consumer based camera and learned everything I could from reading the manual and going to photography workshops.

My first photo gig was an authentic Navajo wedding on an Navajo reservation in Page, Arizona. They rode in on Palomino horses with the sun lit behind them. There was so much dust that made it awesome for photos. My first ever Native American wedding experience. Unfortunately, I did not know how much to charge since it was first one. I told the couple I would only charge them $300.00 for everything. I broke “way under” even. My hotel stay was $300.00 not including food, travel or photo editing. Lesson learned but that's what makes us better in life.
